Excuse me, but do you have a dog named Lulu?

That was the question someone asked me today at work. I was walking through the halls at the VA and someone rushed up from behind and asked if I had a dog named Lulu! This isn't the first time that someone has known Lulu's name but not mine. We were walking in the park and someone yelled out Lulu's name. It was someone from Lu's obedience class. Mind you, I knew her dog's name as well but didn't know her name. I don't think I would have been able to pick her dog out of a line-up, though. And, when the kids were out trick-or-treating, a father came to the door with one of his kids and said, "this must be where Lulu lives." It seems she's quite a celebrity in our little world.
