NOEL

Here is a picture of my first creation. It's quite simple but it's a start. I used some scrap Aida cloth just to see what it would look like before stitching on the more expensive linen I thought about using. So, I think I might attempt this on some linen I have that has gold metalic thread woven throughout. The cloth is sparkly and I love sparkles! That one should look much better. Or, I do have a green linen with gold sparkle...should I use that one? I think the gold will look best. Also, I'll get nit picky here, I was going faster than usual and didn't rip out bad stitches because I wanted to get this done quickly. I'd say this is about 3" x 5" stitched on 18 count Aida cloth. I think it's 18 count anyway.

I know nothing about cloth or stitch, but gold and sparkly is good :)
I like the "e", too!

Cool! I like the "e" as well. I don't like everything to be perfectly proportioned necessarily and the "e" is a bit off by many standards. Still looks good to me, though.
